Submissions Open!

Aaaaand we’re back in the new academic year (and with new editors) for a new round of submissions ready for edition 18!
Submissions are open up until Wednesday 23rd November!
☔︎︎
You can send anything under the following subsections to our email kamenamagazine@gmail.com:
▸ poetry – up to 70 lines, and we accept multiple submissions! any concrete poems (objects composed of words) should be sent in 12pt Garamond where possible.
▸ short fiction/prose/non-fiction – between 100 and 2,000 words. please specify in your submission whether your piece is fiction or non-fiction!
▸ artwork & photography – all art and photography styles are accepted so long as they aren’t explicit (nudity, nsfw, gore). you may submit multiple pieces, and if you decide to submit a series of artworks/photographs, please make sure to state this in your email!

You may submit two pieces per category per edition if you wish, but we will only print one piece per person per edition.
Any work that doesn’t fit into a category can be submitted, but it will have a chance of being rejected if the editors feel it doesn’t fit with the magazines tone. Please don’t let this discourage you; we can’t wait to read all of your work!

↳ If you are not currently a student at the university of Warwick you may still submit work, but know that current student submissions will take priority and your piece may have a chance of being rejected. Again, don’t let this discourage you from trying out!

For more information on our terms and conditions, look no further: https://kamenamagazine.com/terms-and-conditions/ We recommend that you read these before submitting anything.
if you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to email, or to message us on Instagram at @kamenamagazine or @warwickwrisoc! ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
