- All pieces that are accepted for publication are accepted for a general print and/or digital media publication.
- Pieces may be accepted for future publication instead of for the next print edition, at which point it will be stored in the backlog. We will contact you and ask permission to store your work if this is the case.
- Pieces previously published elsewhere are acceptable as submissions; however, we ask that you let us know the names of previous publications. Please make sure that you still own the rights to your piece before you submit.
- All authors/artists retain rights to their work after publication.
- You cannot withdraw a piece after publication, digitally or in print.
- You cannot withdraw a piece once the submissions box is closed. This will happen two weeks before the distribution of an edition, and will be widely publicised on this website and on Kamena’s associated social media pages.
- You must be a student of the University of Warwick at the time of submission to be considered for publication. For this reason, we ask that you provide a student ID number in your submission. This ID number is purely for verification purposes and will not be used for any other purpose.
- If you are a Warwick student currently studying at another university for a year abroad, you may submit.
- If you are a student from another university currently studying at the University of Warwick for a year/term abroad, you may submit for the duration of your stay.
- Although unlikely, we retain the right to reject submissions at any point in the process. We reserve the right to reject without offering feedback.
- Explicitly nude photography is not accepted.
